Do nursing programs / employers drug tests screen for nicotine? (Nevada)

I am pursuing a nursing program in Nevada, hope to relocate to CA after becoming a RN. I am curious as to if the school and (or) hospitals will do drug test screenings for nicotine (e-cig). And should I be worried?

Another question, I’ve heard mixed things about them testing for nicotine in some ‘pre-employment’ screenings, is this something done within the school during/after the nursing program? Or rather done through the employer of where I’ll be applying to?
