Genuinely asking: What’s wrong with being a midwit?

I would like to start off by saying obviously I’m a midwit. I can’t fit in with painfully dumb or highly intelligent people. It’s always been like this.

The hing is, I don’t understand why people get so angry when they’re labeled midwits. I understand why it’s an insult, but to actually internalize it as one is ludicrous. The need to feel exceptional is a very silly feeling that, in a perfect world, would be outgrown after childhood if you aren’t gifted/ have no stand out talents.

In a way, it’s kind of fun to be in the middle, to be average, you’re an observer of both sides. No pressure to compete with the highly intelligent, and just smart enough to think Rick and Morty is slop. Sounds good to me tbh
