My Dad's 68 has been sitting for ~2 years, it had a **strong** raw gas smell while running. It got new stainless fuel lines ~5 years ago, and the lines are tight. The the fuel boats are the source of the smells; the carburetor needs to rebuilt with new seals. But that original FoMoCo Holley 4barrel carburetor is tuned perfectly and pulls too **strong!** Every Dodge Hemi on the road thinks we're should run a street race; **IDIOTS** need to keep on driving; they likely can't even afford their insurance premiums and will get repossessed soon! I still don't understand Fords decision to offer a surfboard bar, and not connect it to the car q2q1

Parked it for the rest of the summer, carefully removed the original Holley and boxed up for my buddy who is a genius at rebuilding these without extra parts left over or pinching the new seals. Maybe the carburator will be ready for a Labor Day car show. I need to rebuild the rear breaks and press off/on new 9in axle seals before any car shows further away than home town.

My 1965 GT Fastback is finally undergoing its long rotisserie restoration. Long time ago I paid an old guy at his decades old body shop to replace the quarter panels the correct way. Used NOS Ford panels, **no glues or bondo!** After the spot welds, he *leaded** the seams onto my car the original way.

Then I spent decades locating original **rust free** used doors and fenders. (Better than any aftermarket remanufactured garbage). Now they have all the correct parts to sand it down to the original primer, fix any dents, remove all rusty spots under the car, add subframe connectors, then spray it with a polyurethane bed liner. Roll her back upright, try their best at the enclosed areas like the cowl, primer, color, clear, windows.

Went to a car show with my Dad in his 1968 Red convertible 428(PI)&C6 for Father's Day.
