Inapplicable Citizenship Ceremony requirements: contact IRCC or just show up?

The "Virtual Citizenship Ceremony Invitation" is a form letter, and includes some requirements that won't apply to most 5(4) applicants. Has anyone who has been through the Ceremony simply ignored these two items and just shown up, or is it best to write to to the Ceremony Team as a formality?

1. Contact IRCC if you are outside of Canada
2. Bring your PR Card (and in some cases Record of Landing), + a scissors to cut up the card, or submit a Solemn Declaration to explain why you don't have a PR card.

They are receiving an "unusal volume" of emails right now - so trying to save IRCC time by clarifying here.
