Just trying to stay afloat this week — from the Philippines

Hi all, hope this finds you well.

I’m from the Philippines, currently in a bit of a rough patch and trying to get back on my feet. I used to work full-time handling customer service for UK clients — long hours, heavy calls, lots of “Can I speak to your manager?” moments. But life threw a curveball, and I’ve been doing odd gigs ever since just to get by.

Today’s one of those days where things are tighter than usual. I’m trying to raise about $40 USD just to cover food and a couple of small bills through the week. If anyone out there is open to lending a hand, even a small amount, I’d be incredibly grateful.

I’m not looking for handouts without heart — I’m more than happy to return the kindness:
