[DMV locals only] [5e] [Discord] Play-by-Post D&D 5e Campaign – Radiant Citadel | Looking for 5-8 Players
Hey there! I’m starting a Dungeons & Dragons 5e play-by-post campaign and looking for 5–8 players who live in the DMV area (DC/Maryland/Virginia). I want this game to be more than just text posts—I’m hoping to build a small, creative, supportive group of local friends.
We’ll be playing through a connected campaign based on Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel, starting at level 1 and leveling through to around level 14.

About Me:
I’m a tech worker living in Maryland. I’ve been playing TTRPGs for about 15 years, mostly as a player, but I’ve been itching to DM something rich, collaborative, and emotionally engaging.
I moved here three years ago and still haven’t found my people. I’d love for this game to be a path to real connection—with in-character drama and out-of-character support.
Outside of games, I paint miniatures, cook a lot (always down to swap recipes), and hang out with my dog.

About the Campaign:
Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel is a colorful, culturally diverse anthology filled with themes of community, ancestry, mystery, and wonder. I’ll be tying the adventures together with a homebrew narrative thread and character arcs that matter.
Expect:
• Roleplay-heavy storytelling
• Fantasy that leans dreamlike, heartfelt, and weird
• Combat with meaning, not just dungeon crawls
• A consistent PbP rhythm (aiming for ~1 post per day per player)
This is traditional D&D 5e, not D&D 2024. New and experienced players are both welcome!

• You live in DC, Maryland, or Virgina
• You want to connect beyond the game
• You can post once a day or more, or at least keep a consistent rhythm
• You enjoy storytelling, shared creativity, and letting others shine
• You’re cool with inclusive, character-driven, and emotionally thoughtful play
