He has been a major public figure for a decade now, it's not easy to maintain the popularity for so long and in his case, his popularity just keeps on increasing. He is not exclusive to just Hip-hop or even just music. He is a household name because of his brand and brand alone. He is in DID, he's beeding with Emiway, he's dissing Honey Singh, he's in Roadies, he's in Hustle. He has been to Big Boss in consecutive years as a guest, now he's a fan favorite in Traitors.

He drops 2-3 commerical songs a year, one of which goes viral, maintaining his musician persona. He eats multiple features every year, satisfying his core audience. Every year or two, he drops a great project, again maintaining his respect as a rapper.

He's cool with the likes of Elvish Yadav, retaining that audience as well. People who have nothing to do with hip-hop love and respect him.

Call him a politician but you can't deny, he's a master in maintaining his relevancy. And that's all that matters. Badshah also has a very similar path.
