What is this on my dog’s snout?

We just gave her a bath and while I was drying her, I felt something hard on her snout.

It looks like hard sebum (but bigger) if you were to do a pimple extraction. When I tried pulling it off, it felt embedded and the skin underneath looks a bit red. Since there was a bit of resistance, I decided not to pull it and wanted to confirm what it was first.

I also sent a pic to my virtual vet, but also wanted to see if anyone else here recognized it.
