New clutch kit trouble

Just installed a new clutch kit and flywheel on my 2006 Impreza outback sport. However we've been running into the issue of bleeding the slave cylinder. It doesn't push the fork all the way like it's supposed to and there no air in the line or any leaks. With that I'm also unable to shift very smoothly or at all into any gears because the clutch engages at the floor. Hopefully someone can help or spitball a few things on what the issue may be.
