Recently qualified rates

Is $40 an hour reasonable for someone who has recently qualified in industrial maintenance in the city? Based in Perth, WA. Only spent the last year of my time in industrial prior to that it was 3 years in commerical. Reason I say that is I’ve spoken to mates in commercial and they are on $45+ get their weeks scheduled for them and given organised / planned jobs already. I work alone 95% of the time have to schedule and organise the majority of my own jobs and parts unless it’s a breakdown/call out. Just don’t know anyone freshly qualified in industrial to be able to compare. Thanks
