My experience of 5 day visit to UP (from Puneri's perspective)

I (26M) visited UP for 5 days to following places (Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Lucknow) and here are few points i felt the difference:

1. Climate: the moment we landed in Varanasi, I got sick. The heat is unbearable. The weather change within 12 hours is insane with 8 degree celcius delta between highs and lows. (Pune wins)
2. Food: I dont understand the craze for food in North. The food tastes bland with little to no actual taste. And I tasted everything, from Varanasi's street food to Lucknow's 4 star hotel food. (Pune wins)
3. Men: no matter where i go, even as a man i felt very unsafe even in religious places. My dad was also heckled by a "Sadhu" for money.. I dont understand how can you order to give bhiksha. Bhiksha should be taken not asked. Pune is so much safer. We people are comparatively humble (despite our cheesy sarcastic one liners). (Pune wins)
4. Women: I wanted to try out bumble in UP and the amount of likes within 5 days I received is more than I got in Pune lol. I wonder why this might be. One reason can be that women in Pune have unexpectedly high expectations that a normal average guy like me can't fulfil. Other than my bumble experience, UP women were too respectful irl (UP wins).
5. Development: I dont need to rant here lol, but again this was my first visit to UP so maybe Yogiji might have really developed it. Compared to Pune and Mumbai, UP stands no wwhere. Only giod thing might be the roads in UP are far better than us 🫠. But the rest of the infrastructure and green city initiative: pune definitely is on the top.(Pune wins)
