Patapon DxD Arch Item Cheat question

I read somewhere that there is a arch item cheat that lets you change the foundry's arch item to another without downgrading by up to 10 levels your item. Will this affect me in Depths of Infinity dungeon (I read if you cheat or something then it becomes useless to even do it).
