TW: Eating Disorders, mental health

I just really needed to come on here, to vent while questioning if I just overreacted or not.

My family has been going through an extremely rough patch these last few months, due to a divorce happening between my parents. I cook homemade and store-bought meals almost each night, and I clean the entire house for my dad, to help relieve the workload just a bit because I am, unfortunately, unable to work a proper 9-5 due to some medical issues. Fast forward to today, I haven’t ate much. I rarely eat to begin with because of an eating disorder I’ve had since I was fifteen, as I am still struggling with it to this day, so I’m extremely sensitive when it comes to comments being made about me eating or my weight (I’m barely 150 lbs, while still just losing weight due to certain medical issues.) My dad proceeds to make a comment along the lines of “you need to eat at a normal time for eating” (it was only 8:00 PM), and “do you need to be eating right now?” I haven’t ate anything for the entire day, and that was my first time eating something. So, I got emotional, and started crying, I just couldn’t eat the sandwich I made myself (threw it away) because I was having some unpleasant thoughts that unfortunately correlate with my eating disorder.

I don’t like crying in front of people, so I proceeded to walk back to my room, while my dad is telling my little sister that I need to “grow up.” And then came back to my room and started yelling to basically “just f-ing eat,” and then he storms out. I needed to get this out and vent, but at the same time, am I overreacting? Is it really just me? Was it my fault, did I deserve to get yelled at? Am I taking up too much space in the house? Just so many thoughts spiraling around in my head, making me doubt myself.
