2007 base tach acted funky and cruise stopped working.

The first and only time it was hard to crank, took maybe 4 seconds to start up. No lights came up on the dash. Tach became highly inaccurate like it had a lot of play in it. Cruise didn't work. I drove about 50 miles and stopped for gas. I restarted the car and it started normally. Tachometer and cruise went right back to working fine. I'm glad but have you guys seen this? Just wondering
