I hate being a transfem in comic spaces

Any time a cishet tomboy woman whines about a tomboy character they like being interpreted as or confirmed in canon to be queer in some way (whether it be by being attracted to women or by being trans or whatever) it throws into my face that cishet people hate being associated with us at all and that is really disheartening.

Like, who cares that in the mainline DC comics canon there are at most maybe three canonical trans women superheroes being consistently used right now? A cishet woman saw a Tumblr fan comic interpreting Black Canary as a trans woman and now we are suddenly Erasing Women's Representation (despite the fact that gay and gendernonconforming trans women are still, get this, women!) for daring to exist. We're "restrictive" and "enforcing stereotypes". How dare We Nasty Queers taint the characters the cishets relate to with our presence?

This is just a couple steps away from being a word for word repetition of TERF arguments btw.
