DC 3 Plane wreck question

Hi,

Me and my brother are planning a trip to Iceland in August and would like to visit the Sólheimasandur plane wreck. I saw a post that it was removed and replaced. In an article I read, the wording sounded like the old plane is still there. Is this true or is the actual old plane completely gone? If its gone, does anyone have any pictures of what it looks like now?
