2 Js and I can't handle it. Is it over for me?

I have 2 Js that are pretty straightforward to me, but I always find myself missing deadlines. Sometimes I don't even send my updates to my boss of J2 (I am in a totally different TZ than the rest of the team) or barely do work for one of the Js.

Not sure how do you guys handle it, but I am just 2 months doing OE and I just want to quit. In both jobs I am relatively new so it gets hard to understand the codebase, the processes, the business, reach out to people, do code review, etc etc (I am a software engineer). So I am thinking that this might be over for me.
