How would've the Prequels and Sequels gone if Lucas did the Sequels after the OT instead of the Prequels?

Basically, how would you guys think the Sequels would have been if Lucas did them first, and subsequently, what would the prequels have looked like if Disney did the Prequels? (Assuming Disney still bought Star Wars in 2014 in this alternate timeline). Would George's sequels be more in line with what we had in legends? Or different? Would Clone Wars and other projects in the 2000s still exist?

Also, an alternative question is how do you think the Star Wars franchise would have gone if George did the Sequels in late 90s/early 2000s, would there have been as much backlash? would george still sell to disney?
