Bracelet activation after ticket name change

Someone from my group couldn't attend defqon anymore and we requested a name change for his ticket yesterday. However he had already activated his bracelet on his defqon 1 app. Does the person who will now get his ticket have to make his own defqon account and reactivate the bracelet to his account and mail or does it automatically happen or does he now need to use the account of the original ticket Holder in the app for topping up etc?
