Brodie might not have got his ring with us, but he’s a big reason why we won one.

Russ was a significant reason why PG re-signed with OKC at the end of the 2017-18 season for another year, and without it, the entire landscape shifts. It set up the monumental trade to LA in 2019 where we not only received SGA, but a 12th pick in 2022 that brought us J Dub.

I don’t mind the media coverage of how the Paul George trade helped both teams make it to the Finals, but without our beloved #0 keeping PG another year, things would be way different.

Presti if you’re reading this, we need a ring for Russ just as much as our boys in blue who brought a historic first chip home to Loud City. TTFU family!
