Concert refund denied

NSW

Heya, Not sure where else to ask…

TLDR: Venue was over capacity, no one was able to move and if there was an incident it would have gone very badly so fast. Event organizer has consistently refused to refund $450.

I flew from Melbourne to Sydney for a one off show for a band at Liberty Hall (expensive trip for one night)

Upon arriving to the show, it was very obvious that they had over sold tickets and the venue was well over capacity and completely unsafe. There was no room for anyone to move even slightly, and the crowd was 3/4 of the way to the only entrance/exit that was visible. There was a few security outside but 0 presence inside downstairs, and only 2 upstairs. There was however about 5 standing out the front doing nothing.

The merch stall was inside and to the left and had to try and push through the extremely tight crowd to get there which was so uncomfortable and despite apologizing profusely and just pointing to the merch stand, everyone got SO angry and abusive.

I got 2 shirts and finally got back out to the front and went outside to get some air and figure out wtf to do. I was visibly shaken from being yelled at and one of the security guards started yelling at me and said why didn’t I ask for help?????? The manager was also out the front and was actually kind, I ended up getting refunded for the shirts and gave them back (they were specific for this one off event) and just leaving as the band came on.

I contacted OLGR (office of liscensing and gaming regulations) but they said venue limits don’t exist? (lol) they said it’s a council issue. I’ve been fighting with moshtix for 6 weeks now and they keep saying “the event organizer has denied the request for a refund”

I’ve lodged a dispute with my bank, but my only previous experience with disputing with a bank the merchant said “no” so I didn’t get the refund despite having evidence.

Is there anything else I can do to get my $450 back?
