Stray kitten

Found some stray kittens on a camp trip. The female seems to have one eye that is bothering her occasionally. She still has an appetite and before rescuing was happily playing with her siblings. No discharge or swelling I noticed , but definitely has irritated blinking in one eye/the same eye shut more than the other at times. I already plan on scheduling a vet appointment in the morning, but what are some possible/probable outcomes ? Should I be preparing for heartache 🫣😬
