Quitting Dating Apps for Good
Following my previous Dating App post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SingaporeRaw/comments/1jg9miz/dating_app_rawview_for_the_average_sg_guy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
I did mention quitting them because I couldn't get any dates or quality matches, but actually continued them after gaining helpful tips from my post's comments.
Those, saying I should not take too long to ask women out and post better profile pictures, definitely helped these last few months, getting tens of decent matches and a handful of "meetings".
But, they ultimately go nowhere as I got rejected and ghosted after first dates, stood up, as well as catfished.
What's worse is the apps now recycle profiles, meaning I have somehow swiped to all. So, currently in a "loop" re-swipping women that'll never match with me.
Realisation of them getting tens of matches and likes, per day, also showed me why I'll never 'graduate' from apps.
So, yeah.. time to close Pandora's box for good and work on myself.
I've also been casually attending social events to organically find someone special while making friends with many other single folk.
Sure, I barely get "matches", but still much more meaningful than apps.
