2018 rs5 trade in for 2022 rs5, am I a bit crazy?
I picked up a fully loaded (literally a $94k sticker) 2018 rs5 3 months ago. It has 26k miles now, had 23k when I got it.
I found a 2022 rs5 with the bronze package and everything else except ceramic brakes, with 20k miles. Personally, not having the flat bottom steering wheels is insane to me for an RS car. And not ready to spend on a replacement OEM flat bottom.. and no ceramic brakes is a downgrade. Exterior carbon is nice though..
A $52k 2018 vs a $69k 2022. I’ve heard the 2022 after production date of 04/22 cannot be tuned. Main thing I’m looking to do with my 2018 soon apart from the wheels, coilovers, and everything else..
Is this a pointless upgrade and a poor choice to just increase the cost of the loan?
My current car has a transferable bumper to bumper 3yr warranty I got for $2600. Everything mechanical and electrical is covered..
