Okay I'm lost here

So I'm trying to do the thing in the prologue where you don't make a choice and go to the nightmare and I've done all the 10 Red Hood locations I got leafs ring and I've done some searching up and I'm not getting it is there more requirements I'm missing?

I'm really hoping you don't need all fairy tales because I'm missing one from summoning an npc on a boss I've already beaten
