Do you think Katie and Schwartz’s marriage would’ve lasted if Sandoval never had influence in their lives?

I’m always rewatching the show and it makes me sad how much Katie was let down in her relationship. I don’t think Sandoval is the sole reason they got divorced at all but i think it did play a little role in the demise of the relationship. Obviously, I think Schwartz is a weasel and horrible husband and blame it all on him. (I could go on forever about him) HOWEVER, I wonder whether they would’ve lasted if Sandoval was like a good person without an ego and maybe if the bar didn’t happen idk.

Wanted to ask people’s opinion on this - thoughts?
