Does Advion draw out roaches?

Lived in my apartment for just over a year. I saw a single roach for the first time around January. Called maintenance and they said they “took care of it.” I asked should they come for a preventative measure and landlord swore I shouldn’t have anymore problems.

I’m obviously still seeing them (wouldn’t be seeking advice in this sub if I wasn’t 😅) so I bought Advion from Amazon and put some down Friday night after cleaning. It’s Sunday now and I’ve seen three in the kitchen. Does the Advion make you see more roaches because it’s drawing them out to kill them? What else can I do? My landlord clearly doesn’t seem to care. I put in yet another request tonight after seeing them.

Everyone has sweared by this and I’m started to feel a little dejected. How long should I expect Advion to do its supposed job? Or is it doing it by me seeing these little nuisances?
