Should I start working while in law school? I need advice.

Working

Hi everyone! I’m currently a 3rd year law student and I’ve been thinking lately, should I start working?

I went straight into law school after college, and I’ve been fortunate enough to focus solely on studying since then. But lately, I can’t help but feel the urge to start earning on my own. At the same time, I’m worried that I won’t be able to juggle work and law school well. I really prioritize my studies, and I’m scared that taking on a job might affect my performance.

For those of you who’ve worked while studying—how was it? Was the adjustment difficult? Would you recommend it at this stage? And if ever, what kind of jobs do you think are manageable and law-student-friendly?

Appreciate any advice or stories you can share 😊
