Did vyvanse make my hair less curly??? Has anyone experienced this??
I am posting this cause I wanna know if I am crazy or not, I know I probably need to go to the doctor to get some deffinete answers but I wanna hear from other people first.
I've been on vyvanse for about 4-5 months. And during this time I have been noticing that my hair had become less curly and maybe i have less of it??? (Pointed out by my mum) I used to have very, very curly and poofy hair, but now it looks like a sad mop. It's basically straight, maybe wavy at best.
I haven't changed my hair routine, shampoo or anything, haven't moved etc. The only thing that I have done to my hair (this was almost right after I started my new medication) was cut it waay too short. This is actually when i noticed it wasn't curling as much as it used to, but I just assumed it was because it was way too short to curl. Now it's back to the length it used to be and it's still not curling.
Now I am eating rather well on vyvanse, as it doesn't affect my apitite. (I was actually on another medication before vyvanse for about 2 years that did affect my apitite and i think that probably has contributed to some vitomin deficiencies as i noticed my nails breaking more often. My nails have been getting better after starting vyvanse and after i started eating more tho).
From my reaserch I've seen that vyvanse can cause hairloss. And tbh idk if I have lost any hair, I think my hair it pretty short to notice? (I basically have a bowl cut)
Has anyone experienced something similar to this? What should I do? People also told me to get my hormones checked???
