How do I keep this going ?

I’ve been following Shera’s advice. So I recently reconnected with a man I met about a year ago while I was freestyling. On the second meetup he surprised me with an expensive perfume.

He reached out again recently, right around my birthday. We went out for dinner, he got me two Lululemon sets, paid for my nails, and was super sweet the entire time. Of course I had to do the light stuff ( kissing, etc.. ) but nothing more was involved. He did invite me to his place after, but I made up a light excuse and went home instead.

At first, he was giving “relationship vibes,” but I let him know that’s not really what I’m looking for. He said he’s fine just having a woman to spend time with, someone to hang out with, with, and enjoy life. I’m late twenties he’s in his late forties, and from what I’ve seen so far, he’s definitely not shy about spending.

He recently told me I’d never have to pull out my wallet when I’m with him, and he’s kept that energy. He’s been following up, texting, and wants to keep seeing me. I suggested a little daytime outing and he was cool with it.

Any advice on how to keep this energy going before giving the cookie away ?
