Anxiety with Semaglutide — any advice / reassurance?

Hi everyone! I’m 25 and female. Below is kind of a dump of a post, so please bear with me.

I’ve been using Semaglutide for almost a year now. It will be one year in August. I’m currently on 1.7 mg with wegovy, but I was originally on Ozempic up until 2 weeks ago.

The reason I am making this post is mostly just to seek experience, reassurance, and any advice.

Admittedly, I think I am a hypochondriac. Ever since I was suddenly diagnosed with PCOS, Hashimotos, thyroid nodules, prediabetes and IIH all at once a few years back I’ve had severe anxiety that other things are wrong with me— constantly. I think being bombed with so many things at once has completely warped my perception of symptoms beyond reason and what could be perceived as normal.

Lately, even though I’ve looked into it, I’ve had the intrusive fear that semaglutide is going to give me cancer, particularly pancreatic cancer or thyroid cancer. I can’t really rationalize my fears, and I think I just need someone to slap my hand and tell me I’m being paranoid LOL

Does anyone else struggle with these fears? What do you do about it?

Sometimes I look through reddit and see people blaming Ozempic for cancers that people they know have taken it.

Semaglutide has only been a primarily positive experience for me, and I am enjoying it’s benefits. I just wish I could somehow relieve my fears without having to make myself look crazy at the doctor’s.

Thanks for reading and for any advice. Sorry for the sob story dump. I’m not really sure where else to turn to. 🙏
