[CHAT] Dames of the needle drama?

I was watching jessiemariedoesstuff on flosstube over the weekend and when she showed her progress on Ragnarok from Long Dog Samplers she went out of her way to not mention the fabric dyer because she doesn't want to endorse or support them. But she didn't give any reason as to what's happened to influence her decision about sharing the dyer. even went to the effort of suggesting an alternative fabric, similar to what she's using for anyone who wants something similar.

As I was curious I scrolled back on Instagram I found the fabric she's using is from Dames of the Needle and for all my (admittedly paltry efforts) I can't find anything suggesting any reason to boycott them or any mention of production problems etc that would make them a buyer beware situation.

Does anyone have any insight as to what may have happened?
