Virtual desktop Version 1.29.10 stopped working

Since i m keeping 5.8.2 OS version, this was the last properly working version of VD on my system. Then one day an update automatically launched in my desktop streamer. When i re-installed the streamer back to 1.29.10 - it wouldn't find my headset. Any ideas?
