Please Help w/ College Laptop Decision

Hello,

I am really struggling trying to find a laptop for college use. I was wondering if some of you guys can help me with finding laptops, as I know little to nothing about what makes a good laptop. If you are willing to help here is what I'm generally looking for

• 13-14inch screen, mainly in the 13's though.
• Something lightweight and not bulky, I am leaning towards something on the thinner side
• Fan is not super loud, cause that is a little embarrassing in a classroom setting
• I am open to refurbished/used computers
• Just for basic college stuff, homework, browsing, videos
• $600 max :( as I don't have much money lol (I am in the U.S.)

Big thank you for anyone who can help me :) Stay awesome!
