Games are too hard to close out.

Discussion

It's a problem with the two lane system. The enemy team covers all of the base basically regardless of where they position within their base.

The lane's geography needs to be changed so that each lane covers the opposite side of the base. On top of that there is just not enough space inside the base for the enemy team to position. This means attacking teams have to engage in the tiny crowded lane chokes. This seriously negates the value of poke compositions.

Edit: for the sake of discussion do not make assumptions about whether one team is ahead or the composition of either team.

Take both bindings and have your ranged carry hit things. If you don't have a ranged carry....well beat them into submission until they surrender.

Your title is incorrect. Sorry. The map does not stop pushing or poke comps when the shapers finally come out. The fountain doesn't even regen health all that quickly. I think you are just rushing to conclusions because you and the teammates you happen to get do not know how to build/push/pressure objectives and towers.

You would get more success asking how to end games rather than assuming it cannot be done simply because you can't.

uhmmmmmmm if you deserve to be that far into their base, you should be able to tower dive them anyways. A good idea: Have your team harass while the ranged carry AAs the binding/guardian.

Getting past the towers isnt the problem, it is the guardian, It is too strong early and respawn timers are too low to be able to close it out properly.

Treat the guardian like you would a 2 turret base/nexus/ancient in any other MOBA. You need your minions to tank the damage.

I usually find that you can close the game easily enough.

We should make assumption that your team is ahead if you are at their base entrance. Otherwise I think that is right that with two even team inside your base you are stronger.

Yes, sometimes it may be hard if you don't have coordination, or the enemy is good enough to go back to heal and come back to fight.

I had one game that we could win open teamfight without any problems and were way ahead but we couldn't win a fight at the Guardian at all. We got wiped there more than once, and the game lasted 60 minutes when we finally decided that we could just hit the guardian fast enough before they would kill us (longest Dawngate game I ever had).

But usually it can end preatty quickly, sometimes I've found that this game tend to have a strogner snowball effect from the early lane phases into mid/late.

All that really needs be done is for the guardian to have different scaling.

I find that trash talking enemies while beating them down forces the surrender or makes them type a lot and lose focus. Next level tactics, I'm sorry for all the people who wanted to keep that a secret.
