SFPD Background Investigation Timeline:

October 2025 Submitted application to San Francisco Police Department

November 2025 Passed Physical Ability Test (PAT) Passed Oral Interview

January 2026 Assigned a Background Investigator

June 2026 Received Conditional Offer of Employment Passed Polygraph Examination Passed Medical Examination Completed Psychological Testing Completed one on one Interview with Psychologist

June 2026 – Present Pending final review and approval by SFPD Hiring Committee

Honestly, what an incredible journey. We are in the final phase of it all and I truly look forward to the result of it. I am thankful to be at this point of the process.
