Assessing the Worth of a Youth Sports Small Business for Sale

In 2022, I launched a youth sports organization on the side to address a local demand. Since then, it has seen steady growth, reaching around $110k in revenue with over 100 participants engaging in various activities throughout the year (summer, fall, and winter programs).

Due to a career relocation, I am unable to continue operating the business and am considering selling it.

The business is profitable, the brand is expanding, and I have been able to cover many personal expenses, including my child's sports gear and training, through the business. Profit margins typically range from 5-15%. I have prioritized gradual, natural growth over profit maximization. Therefore, someone with a sharper focus and utilizing the foundation I've established could further develop the business according to my strategy.

While there is interest from potential buyers, I am seeking guidance on setting the right asking price to avoid any complications.
