Some fun challenge runs I came up with for Post Route 0-

Last Defense Academy Classic-

Inspired by Fire Emblem's classic mode which features permadeath, making choices much harder-

Rules-

• If a character dies, they cannot be used in future battles and cannot be interacted with at all in bond events or chosen for explorations. The ONLY exception to the rule is if talking to them is mandatory for story progression.

• Takumi, Nozomi and any character who needs to be defended/rescued for X amount of terms dying will end your run.

• When a character dies the first time, you can use the Voltage gained from their death ONLY in that fight.

• 'Dead' Characters must be positioned AWAY from invaders and protected from being killed again- so that their Voltage gain from death cannot be exploited multiple times.

• Takumi and/or Nozomi are the only characters who has to remain alive at the end in order to complete the challenge.

Structures Only-

Exactly as the title suggests.

• Nobody is allowed to use their weapons. With the exception of Kurara, who may use it to BUILD.

• Bombs, Electrified Fences, Sentries built by Kurara and Kurara's bomb special attack are the only means of damaging your opponents.

• Characters can either Defend, use Last Stand or be killed by an invader to charge the Voltage gauge for another character to activate their special. No desperation potions

• Unlike the other run, characters who die this time can still be used after the fight is over.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Girls night!!! The girls are fighting!!!!

• All the male cast must Defend and stay away from invaders as much as possible, especially Takumi, whose death would end the run.

• Only the girls may fight.

• The run ends if Takumi dies, you fail to save the Academy or no girls are left.

• If a guy happens to die during a fight, you're not allowed to use the Voltage gained from their death to use a special or enhance your hemoanima.

• None of the guys are allowed to be interacted with or chosen for explorations or gifting or bond events UNLESS it is mandatory for the plot.

Fellas is it really gay if we homoerotically fight as a band of brothers to protect the school? I mean there might be girls inside, right???

The lads turn.

• All the female cast must Defend and stay away from invaders as much as possible.

Fuck you, I'll do it myself!

• Takumi only.

• Everyone else either takes a Desperation potion or deliberately gets killed to fill the Voltage gauge and to leave Takumi alone.

• The run will end if Takumi dies, the school falls or the person he has to protect dies on the battlefield.

• Takumi can't interact with ANYONE unless it's mandatory for story progression.

Defending the school....with Pride 🏳️‍🌈 (Exclusive to Route 0 or Second Scenario)

• Only characters who have canonically had LGBT relationships in the game can fight- Eito, Takumi, Yugamu, Gaku, Tsubasa, Hiriko, Darumi. (Have I missed any?)

• That's it really. Only the LGBT community may fight. The rest have to take a Desperation potion or willingly die. They can't be interacted with unless it's mandatory.

• Use a Springboard + Agility Potion to get your fave ships together on the map so they can fight (and steal kisses) and protect the school. Not mandatory but it's a fun extra thing to do.
