Is there an update about chats yet?

For two days now I've been getting horrible responses on every chat style. Symbols spamming, numbers spamming, random spaces, a bunch of commas, replies that don't fit the Convo or make any sense. It's ruining the chatting experience for many people including myself. So have these issues been responded to or even acknowledged yet???
