Gun only runs in super safe mode

Has anyone had this experience before? Went to range test today and safety functions correctly, but as soon as I flip it to semi or super safe, it shoots in super safe mode only. Cannot get it to only run semi. Also noticed a light primer strike. 11.5” barrel with a sprinco blue and H2 buffer. Wondering if this could be resolved by an H3 buffer, as it functions properly dry fire testing
