Vigilante 8 - A possible remaster?

Now that Microsoft owns all of Activsion's franchises, what would be the chances of a possible remaster for the Vigilante 8 games?

I know of a lead developer who worked on the Vigilante 8 back during the PS1 era who's more than willing to remaster the og games and possibly even make new games for it.

He said he's been trying to contact Microsoft but won't hear back from them. Is there something we as a community can do to make Xbox/MS respond?
