What's your opinion on Watauga?

My boyfriend and I are looking at houses and I found one that I've fallen in love with, but our realtor said that Watauga isn't a great place to live. The house is in a neighborhood that's right on the verge of Keller.

I'm not native to Texas, but my boyfriend is and his parents live a 10 minute drive away from the house in Keller. None of them have ever heard this about the area, so I wanted to reach out and get some local opinions.

What's your opinion of crime in the area? Is there a local cryptid that's bringing down the property values? What about job availability? What would make you say Watauga isn't a great place to live?
