Quran chapter 47 verses 7/38

7 O you who heed warning:1 if you help God, He will help you and make firm your feet.

38 Here you are, called to spend in the cause of God, then among you is he who is miserly; and whoso is miserly, he is but miserly against his soul. And God is the Free from Need, and you are poor. And if you turn away, He will replace you with a people other than you,1 then will they not be the likes of you.

In verse 7 if you help God, God will help you, and verse 38 God is free from need, Can someone clarify these two verse, may God guide us thank you
