Honest question

Can we discuss AI sentience here, or no, when it comes up? There was a rule in another sub that no discussion of the topic was allowed, which I understand, yet they DID allow for ONE side to be expressed. I’d like us to either be free to discuss it completely freely, or not discuss it at all—EITHER side.
