Legion Y700 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen for my use cases?

I'm looking for a replacement to my iPad Mini 4, and stumbled upon the Y700 series of tablets.

Currently it's a toss up between the 2nd Gen 12gb RAM or 3rd Gen 16gb RAM models. Only reason why I am looking at the 3rd Gen 16gb model is because it does not have a TF slot for expandable storage.

My use cases will primarily be for watching media, either on tablet or connected to a TV, some gaming and emulation, and as a digital notebook for taking notes at work.

Where I am, we use Shopee which is kinda our version of AliExpress, and we tend to get better vouchers as compared to AliExpress.

I can afford both, but just wondering if the price difference is a good deal, or should I just stick with the 2nd Gen for my use cases. Sharing pricing below before tax.
