Splicing wire to extend my ev 2 charger???

Hi!! I have a 20 ft cord and I need like 26. I can't seem to find any extenders(tesla) that are less than 16ft. The charger is fixed on the house so i can not move that. i have the siemens one. Is it possible to splice and add 6 foot in the center??? I don't see why not. I really don't want 12 extra feet of wire laying around. Thanks! My last EV the port was up front before you ask why I put the box there LOL.
