Brenan

I’m going to try to be a little vague here so as not to spoil anything for someone. There have been speculations about Brenan and what became of him after Naolin attempted to save him. At the beginning of chapter 22 in fourth wing there is an excerpt from the book of Brenan where he is talking about the power you feel when your dragon starts to channel and then he says “that power can quickly turn and control you”. Is he speaking from experience? Is this a RY Easter egg?
