Virginia Policies on student displacement after school-district border changes?

Hello fellow Virginians!

My high school has announced its border-review policy and my city is within one of the areas that are in consideration on whether or not it will remain listed or be unlisted. If worst case scenario happens - wherein my high school does get unlisted from their jurisdiction, is it possible for me to actually get kicked out or be forced to transfer to a nearby high school? Has there been any cases in Virginia where this happened?
