It seems like a lot of people have been picking up these scooters lately so just wanted to drop this comparison in. The first 2 photos are of the standard oem seat that comes on the Xmax 300 here in the USA. Not uncomfortable or anything but for my inseam of a bit less than 32 inches and the width, it made it sometimes awkward to duck walk or flat foot.

3rd and 4th images are of the low seat I ordered off of CMSNL. Since scooters aren't as popular here as in Europe, it seems to get certain optional parts in the USA you need to order it from abroad. The low seat has a bit less storage under the rider compartment and a bit less padding but nothing too bad. It sits about an inch and a half lower but is also not as wide so your legs don't get kicked out as much.

Interestingly, I feel the material on the low seat from Europe is much nicer than the stock seat. The low seat is all pleather style which wipes easily and has the nice metal accent pieces along with a better bolster to rest your butt up against as a rider. The stitching also just appears more premium.

Installing it was easy as the entire seat unbolts with 4 10mm nuts. Just be careful you don't drop any of them as there is a nice opening directly below for them to fall and get stuck. 3 mins of vigorously shaking the scoot finally resulted in mea retrieving the missing nut.....
