Fireworks from the Ulysses S Grant monument?

Hello, I'm hoping to see the fireworks over the Capitol building. Its been a dream of mine for like 15 years now. I was thinking either at the Ulysses S Grant monument or the supreme court side of the Capitol lawn. What are your thoughts? Everything is point me to the Grant monument but would I see the fireworks over the dome of the Capitol building? Please help I feel like an idiot
